Queenstown Swimming Pool  

This pool is among the oldest Swimming Pool around as its doors were opened to the public back in 1970. Though it is old, it doesn’t fail in providing the fun that most swimmers are in search of. The facilities in this pool still stand out in the modern world. There are a number of shopping centers located around the pool thus providing enough options for people who would like go for a quick shopping and dash back to the Swimming Pool. The closest shopping center is the Alexandra Center which is only 0.8km from the Swimming Pool.

Information 

The parking space available at the Queenstown Swimming Pool is not big as it can only accommodate 18 cars. The pool is open from Thursday to Tuesday and public holidays from 8.00am to 9.30pm. On Wednesdays, the pool opens its doors at 2.30pm and closes them at 9.30pm. The available facilities are a competition pool, teaching pool, wading pool and diving pool. The pool has a seating capacity of 270. The entrance charges are affordable to many people and are as follows; $1 for adults, $0.50 for children and $0.50 for senior citizens on weekdays. During weekends the entrance fee changes to $1.30 for adults, $0.70 for children and $0.60 for senior citizens.
